Norman Frisby

My name is Norman Frisby. I was appointed to fill the seat vacated by Stephanie Smith on the Council for a term beginning January 1, 2015.  I was re-elected for another term in November 2018.  I also serve on the Sheridan Parks and Recreation Board as the City Council representative.  I have been Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the State of Arkansas in Grant County since November 2004, first serving under Prosecuting Attorney Eddy R. Easley and now under Prosecuting Attorney Teresa J. Howell.  I grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1997.  After high school, I attended Ouachita Baptist University where I graduated in 2001 with a degree in Political Science and Chemistry.  I then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, where I graduated in 2004 with a Juris Doctorate.  I was admitted to the Bar of Arkansas in September 2004.  I am a member of First United Methodist Church of Sheridan and the Sheridan Rotary Club.  I have been married to Suzanne Grider Frisby for 10 years and I have one son Kellen, who is 7 years old and will be a first grader in the fall of 2019.
