Cain W. Nattin
My Name is Cain Nattin. I am a lifelong resident of Grant County, Arkansas, and graduated from Sheridan High School in 2015. I have a bachelor's degree from Central Arkansas Baptist Bible Institute. Before being elected as Mayor in 2022, I served as a student and young adult pastor at First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan, Arkansas. Along with my position in full-time ministry, I’ve enjoyed serving in many capacities including being a volunteer firefighter with Sheridan Fire Department, a reserve deputy with Grant County Sheriff’s Office, as well as a member of Grant County Rescue. I also serve as a member of the International Fellowship of Chaplains, which has allowed me to serve as the chaplain for multiple agencies in Grant County.
I also enjoy serving with a variety of organizations. I currently sit on the Grant County Unified Community Resource Council’s Board of Directors, which oversee many key resources such as Kathy’s Closet, the Women’s Shelter, and the Literacy Council. Weekly, I also serve as a member of Sheridan Rotary Club. I’m married to Rachel Nattin, who is a third year law student at UALR William H. Bowen School of Law.
I am blessed to live in such a great town, and I want the people of this community to have a voice that fights for them and fights for everything our town needs. My family and I are looking forward to this journey, and ask for your prayers over my term in office.
