Water & Sewer

The Sheridan Water and Sewer Department is owned entirely by the City of Sheridan. The water and sewer department receives no funding from the City of Sheridan and has its on bookkeeping operation. The department is debt free at the current time.

There is a three member water & sewer committee that meets monthly and submits recommendations for approval by the City Council. There are seven employees in the water and sewer department. The operations manager also supervises the street and sanitation operations.

The water supply is obtained from five deep wells. Water storage capacity is 800,000 gallons. Daily water processing capacity is 4,500,000 gallons.
